About Rhema

Rhema FM is owned and operated by Sunshine Christian Broadcasters Association Inc (SCCBA).

The SCCBA commenced when a public meeting was held in 1993 to ascertain if there was an interest in commencing a Christian Radio Station on the Sunshine Coast. The answer was overwhelming and the rest is history

We are a listener supported, membership based, volunteer-operated, not-for-profit, community organisation. 106.5 Rhema FM is currently comprised of around 1090 members and almost 90 volunteers who regularly give of their time and expertise to present Christian Radio to the Sunshine Coast. It can be heard from Noosa to Brisbane and world wide through internet radio available from the Home Page of this site.

106five Rhema FM broadcasts 24 hours a day, seven days a week on a permanent full time licence.

SCCBA is a non-denominational Christian body. Presently 58 different churches and church organisations are members of the Association.

Rhema FM is situated in the grounds of Nambour Assembly Of God Church, McKenzie Road Woombye

Office hours are 9am till 4pm.

and instructive, informative, entertaining programs consistent
with Biblical values.”

RHEMA FM ARTICLES OF FAITH

The Articles Of Faith are based on the Nicene Creed adopted by the Christian church in AD330 and are widely accepted to-day by both Protestant and Catholic churches alike. We believe:

• That the Holy Scriptures, as given by God, are divinely inspired, Infallible (entirely trustworthy), and the supreme authority of all matters of faith and practice.
• In one God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
• In our Lord Jesus Christ, God manifest in the flesh, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles and atoning death.
• In the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, in His personal return, and the judgment of the world by Him.
• That all have sinned and are justly exposed to the judgment of God.
• That redemption from the guilt penalty, and power of sin, is possible only through the death and shed blood and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
• In the necessity of the work of the Holy Spirit to make the death of Jesus Christ effective to the individual sinner, granting him repentance toward God and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, enabling the believer to live a holy life and to witness and work for Him.
• In the resurrection of the body, the eternal blessedness of the righteous and the eternal punishment of the wicked.
• That every believer is baptised into the Body of Christ by the Holy Spirit, and thus being members of one another, are responsible for keeping the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace, loving one another with pure heart fervently.
